The beginning of my speech, I pray upon [the Prophet] Mohammad, the guider  
Mohammad is the one who has honored us over all people

ومحمد الي بسيفه طوع الكفار
The second of my speech, I pray upon Mohammad, the chosen one
Mohammad is the one whom with his sword defeated the disbelievers

الفاتحة للنبي يلي قريتوها
وانتو كسبتو الاجر يلي سمعتوها
(Surat Al-Fatiha) to the soul of the Prophet oh you who have read it
And you earned the blessing oh you who heard it

الفاتحة للنبي والخضر ابو العباس
والفاتحة للنبي تحفظ/شرف جميع الناس
(Surat Al-Fatiha) to the soul of the Prophet and Al-Khader the father of Abbas
And Surat Al-Fatiha to the soul of the Prophet [protects/is the honor of] all people

سعيد من راح لقبر النبي وزاره
Oh those of you who visited the [masjid of the] Prophet, what is the description of the rocks
Joyous is the one who went to the grave of the Prophet and visited him

يا زايرين النبي ويش وصفة القبة
سعيد من راح لقبر النبي وحبه
Oh those of you who visited the Prophet, what is the description of the dome
Joyous is the one who went to the grave of the prophet and loved him

يا زايرين النبي ويش وصفة العمدان
سعيد من راح لقبر النبي العدنان
Oh those of you who visited the prophet, what is the description of the pillars
Joyous is the one who went to the grave of the Adnan prophet (Adnan is the name of the ancestoral Arab tribe of the Prophet. It also means everlasting)

Oh those of you who visited the prophet, what is the description of the minbar (pulpit)
Joyous is the one who went to the grave of the prophet and proclaimed (said takbeer i.e. Allahu Akbar)

Oh those of you who are visiting the prophet, what is the description of the key
Joyous is the one who went to the grave of the prophet and felt comfort

من وسط بستان طير اخضر يلاقيكم/ يناديكم
To all of you present here, good/blessed evening
From a beautiful garden, may a green bird [meet you/call upon you]

مسيكم بالخير واحنا توِّنا جينا
ت نزهزه القلب و نروِّح لاهالينا
Good evening to you all and we have just came
To delight/cheer the heart and then go back home to our families

Good evening to you who just came this hour (referring to the person's loved one)
Your waist is slim and in your hand is the ring of Ta'a (compliance, a ring believed to make people like the one wearing it because that person is able to possess people's minds and hearts)

Good evening to you who put the tiresome effort and came
Seeing you relieves/heals the fatigue/tiredness and [engaging in] conversations [with you]is entertaining

Good evening to you oh owner/holder of the silver masbaha (rosary beads)
After the long-lived love, why all of this hatred

Good evening to you oh owner/holder of the blue masbaha
After the long-lived love, why this separation

Welcome oh [guests/hapiness] of our hearts, you have arrived
The grass of the land turned green the day you came
Or it is said

Greetings oh beloved ones, how is your condition and how are you?
Our conditions have not changed but you are the ones who changed

يا ميمتي لملميلي من الدوا وهاتي
يا ناس طلو على المريض بهاتي
Oh mother gather/collect from the medicine/treatments and bring it
Oh people visit the sick one, they are suffering/screaming from pain

يا ناس طلو على المريض بطيبي
Oh mother gather/collect from the medicine/treatments and bring it
Oh people visit the sick one, they will feel better/be cured

والمريض لو وصفولي في مصر حكماته
لطير طير النسر وجيبله حكماته
And the sick if they described/explained/told me in Egypt is their treatments
I will fly like the flying of an eagle and get them their treatments

شباب قوموا العبوا والموت ما عنه / والنوم ويش منه
والعمر مثل القمر ما ينشبع منه 
Oh youngsters get up and play and [death is certain/ what benefit is there in sleep]
And life is the like the [full] moon, you can never get enough of it

هب الهوى في البحر يا مركبي سيري
لاصبر صبر الخشب تحت المناشير
The wind blew in the ocean, oh my boat continue sailing
I will be as patient as the pateince of the wood under the saws

ويش صبرك يا خشب تحت المناشير
صبرني حكمك يا ربي وانت القدير
And what has allowed you to be patient oh wood under the saws
Your decree/judgement oh my Lord has kept me patient, and You are the most Powerful/Almighty

درب الحرش يا غزالي لا يصيدونك
حذرك تطيح السهل و تسبل عيونك
[Take] The path of the forest/trees oh my gazelle/deer so that they do not hunt you/catch you
Be cautious to go down the plain/lowland and relax your eyes

يا ميخذات النذل شو بتوخذن منه
حطين المصاري واخلصن منه
Oh you who took the coward/betrayer, what do you take from him
Put/give up the money [meaning her dowery] and get rid of him/be free from him

و النذل ضرب غزالي وش بدا منه
والله لولا الحيا لطلقه منه
And the coward/betrayer hit my gazelle, what does he want from it
By Allah, had it not been because of chastity/shame, else I would have divorced him from her

ملعون ابو الي ضرب غزالي وبكاها
لاقطع يمينه واخلي الدود يرعاها
Cursed/damned the father of the one who hit my gazelle/deer and made her cry
I will sever his right arm and let the worms live in it

انتو تعزو الرفق والا تخلونه
احنا نعزّ الرفق و ارواحنا دونه
Do you cherish the companionship or do you betray it/leave it
We cherish companionship and we will sacrifice our lives for it

والشمس لا غابت على روس الجبال
واحنا الرفق عندنا مثل الذهب غالي
And even if the sun sets from the mountain tops
And companionship for us is like gold, expensive/precious

ملعون ابو اللي يعاتب صاحبه ملعون
الا في ارض الخلا و الناس ما يدرون
Damn/curse the father of the one who admonishes his friend, damned/cursed
Except in empty land and the people do not know

و اكم من نخلة بلا سلم طلعناها
و اكم من زلّه وللصاحب سامحناها
And how many palm trees without a ladder we climbed it
And how many mistakes/shortcomings for the friend we forgave it

And I dreamt, oh beautiful/charming that you are in my dream with me
Sweeter than the honeycomb and softer than Indian silk

والحلم كذاب لا شفته ولا اريته
Sleeping next to me, and they were uncovered and I covered them
And the dream is a liar, I did not see nor witness them

My fear is that the blue-eyed will betray/change their intention

من عاشر الزين عاف/نسى الزاد والميّة
Sitting on the pile of rocks do not think you are safe from the snake
Who keeps company with the beautiful will hate/forget the food and water

يا حلو صادوا غزالك وانت مش داري
Sitting on the pile of rocks oh beneath him is a flowing river
Oh handsome they hunted your gazelle/deer and you are not aware

ويش علم النذل يرقد في مكان سيده
بيتساهل الذبح وبعد الذبح قطع ايده
And what/who taught the coward/betrayer sleep in his master's place
He deserves to be slayed/killed and after that severing his hand

والسيف بطال والي شايله بطال
ويش علمك المراجل يا ردي الخال
And the sword is worthless/phony and the one carrying it is too
What taught you bravery oh you with lousy uncles

واحنا الغضارف ومنزلنا على الطارف
وما ينزل الوسط إلا النذل الخايف
And we are the lions and our houses are on the perimeter [of our village] (meaning they protect it from any intruder/enemy)
And no one goes and lives in the center [of the village] except the betrayer and coward/scared (meaning people who hide)

واحنا كبار البلد واحنا كراسيها
واحنا اشجار النخل الي تمايلت فيها
And we are the biggest leaders of the village and we are its seats
And we are the [tall] palm trees that swayed in it

وان قدر الله وخلتنا منايانا
والحنظل المر لنسقيه لاعدانا
And if Allah decrees and our lives kept us
And the bitter colocynth [type of fruit also known as bitter melon/apple] we will make our our enemies drink

وان قدر الله وخلتنا الليالي السود
لنصحن القوم صحن الكحل في البارود
And if Allah decrees and the dark black nights kept us
We will crush the tribe like the crushing of gunpowder in the rifle
